Understanding HintX

HintX functions in conjunction with the main Hint Candlestick Chart to provide a measure of the intensity of the signal generated by the Hint algorithm. On the HintX Oscillator, the intensity is represented on a scale of 0 to 50 (from bottom to top), with the red horizontal line corresponding to a value of 25.

Hint with a reading above 25 on the HintX Oscillator are considered STRONG signal.

It is important to note that not all signals with a reading above 25 are registered as  Strong signals; this happens because the market trend is still intact and the signal given is a countertrend signal.

In the example above, we can see that the signal generated was above the reading of 25 but it did not give a Strong Sell signal since the main trend is still bullish. But when it gave the Buy signal, it registered them as Strong buys, as the Hint Candlestick Chart calculated that the probability of the market going up outweighs the probability of it going down.
